Bo-Bunny Little Miss Mini Album

Good morning friends, Today I'm playing catch-up and posting this adorable little mini album done in Bo-Bunny's "Little Miss" collection.  I've decorated it with rosette's, chipboard, rhinestones and glitter.  Finished it off with some pretty ribbon.  I hope you enjoy this little bit of inspiration:

Daddy's Girl

Good Morning Friends,

Here's a layout of my BFF and his daughter, Amanda enjoying an afternoon at one of our local beaches.  I finely figured out how to do circles with corner punches!  I so love the effect of those adorable scrabble tiles too:

Ladies Dairy Calendar

Linny's 2013 ladies Diary Calendar

Good Morning Friends,

Today I'm happy to share this cute little calendar I created for my secret sister, Linny, in a swap being hosted by Martica at scrapbook.com.  These ladies are so talented and I feel quite lucky to be able to create with them!

Monthly Pages
Each of the monthly pages are done the say way with a butterfly, calendar page and group of roses so no need to post a picture of every month.

Bill & Nancy Thormalhlen

Good Morning Friends,

Today I'm happy to share a recent layout of  my lovely cousins, Bill and Nancy Thormahlen.  I used this beautiful picture of them for my family wedding album since they didn't have a photographer at their simple ceremony.    I love the warmth this layout eludes with its beautiful gold gilded Christmas tree, the peek a boo window with shutters and heart boarder that surrounds the scene.

Thank you so much for dropping by my gallery and may I wish you a happy day!  Hugs to All ~ Dawna

Pasternik Wedding Invatation

Good morning friends here's what I did with my darling daughters wedding invitation:

Sisters

Good Morning Friends,  Today I'm posting a picture of my sister and I from our salon date on our daughters wedding day.  I love this A Ladies Dairy paper collection from Graphic 45 and this beautiful chipboard Dusty Attic dress form.  To create this layout, I kept it simple.  Just layered two papers, fussy cut the clocks and popped them up to add some dimension.  I surrounded the clocks with flower clusters, cut out circular mats for our pictures and also popped them up.  I used a torn script page to mat the vintage image and distressed the vintage dress form with white for that shabby chic look.  All the edges were distressed with a file and inked.  And again distressed the 'Sisters' chipboard with white and popped it up too.  The results are simple, yet easy to do and very elegant.

Thank you for dropping by my gallery today dear friends!  I hope you all enjoy your day!  ~ Dawna

Mother of the Bride

Good morning friends,

Today I'm happy to bring you a layout of my wonderful husband, Richard and I at our daughters wedding.  It was such a wonderful wedding with my daughter tending to all the details herself, with help from family and friends of course!

One of my favorite things about this layout is the lovely Dusty Attic stained glass window chipboard and the wonderful glass shard butterflies.  The butterflies are handmade and avialable  from mylittlescrapshop on Etsy.  To give the window a stained glass effect, I used Liquid Pearls to paint the window details.  I handmade the pink flower with pearl center, punched around the page, rolled the corner and tucked in a bit of distressed hexagon chipboard for additional interest and texture.  Here are a few close up I hope you'll enjoy:

Great Aunt Nora Circa 1800's

Good Morning Friends,

Today I'm posting a lovely layout of my great aunt Nora with a beautiful picture of her from the early 1800's. My Aunt Nora was married to William Fairchild in the early 1800's.  Her maiden name was Spencer.

To create this simple vintage layout I started with a blue back ground piece, then layered a punched printed page on top.   I added a few more layers with a doily made from the Cricut using the Paper Lace cartridge and added a simple white Wilton doily.  I matted and framed a few wonderful vintage images from A Ladies Diary paper collection from Graphic 45.   I handmade the pink flower with pearl center, die cut the leaves, and added a few rolled roses to finish the flower cluster.  I added a corner chipboard for a little extra depth and interest.  Then as a final touch, I added the birdcage and a few birds in flight.

Just a few close ups I hope you'll enjoy:
