Sweet Christmas Cheer Layout

Hi Friends, Today I'm sharing a simple layout I created using Prima's Sweet Christmas Cookies paper collection and 49th and Market flowers.  Kept it simple with just some texture paste, ink and the Hocus Pocus star stencil from Tim Holtz. Layered up some rose gold foil, blue glitter cardstock and a doily to frame the sepia photo.  I love the vintage feel of this sweet layout.  That's it for me today.  Until next time, scrap happy!

10 Beautiful Anna Griffin Cards

Hi Friends, I just completed Anna Griffin's annual creative event and made so lovely projects using her new dies and embellishments.  The featured card above is a "Slider Card."  When you pull the little flag in the bottom right hand corner, the dancers twirl around!  It's such a charming card, sure to please anyone lucky enough to receive one!  The card below is a pop-out card which features a beautiful embossed gold die cut on the front and a big poinsettia pops out from the inside.  Have a closer look:

The next card is also a pop out card with a pretty flower:

And let's not forget the birthday cake!

This card has a rounded bottom, which is called a "rocker card:"

This card is one of my favorites as its so interactive.  When you open this card, the sides of the center pull away or open to reveal your sentiment.  Its such as easy card to make, yet is really feels like it should be very complicated. Have a peek:

And, no pop up collection would be complete without a Christmas Tree:

And for fun, one more poinsettia pop out:

This next card is also a pop out card, but it frames and pops out your sentiment.  Have a peek:

Last but not least, this card features a Victorian Room Vignette.  If you put three of these cards together, you'll have a carousel card!  I'm afraid I don't have that to show you today, but I'll have one for you soon.  Lets take a closer look:

That's all for now.  I hope you enjoyed these projects and hopeful feel inspired to try your hand at one these lovely cards.  You can find everything you need to make any of these cards at Anna Griffin.com or HSN.  Until next time, happy crafting! ~ Dawna

Mermaid Kisses and Starfish Wishes Canvas

Hello friends, Today I'm sharing a simple canvas that I created for a friend who loves the sea.  I couldn't resist the sentiment, mermaid and grass chipboard from Scrapoholics.  I also used 49th and Markets Vintage Artistry Shoreline paper collection.  Kept it simple, as my friend really doesn't do fussy.  The one thing I really love about this canvas is the hint of gold glitter swirls running throughout the background.  Unfortunately, the camera just won't pick it up.  But it's very sparkly in real life!  Thanks so much for dropping by and having a peek!  Until next time, scrap happy! ~ Dawna

Sparky's First RV Camping Trip

Hi Friends, This spring we were so blessed to rescue this darling kitten from our local junk yard.  I'd always wanted an orange tabby, and now I have one!  We named him Sparky, for his sparkling personality! lol He certainly lives up to his name!  He's only 7 weeks old on this trip and traveled like a veteran.  We did have to stuff towels in all the various cubbies he tried squeezing into, we thought for sure he'd disappear and we wouldn't find him again.  He adds so much life to our life, he's just a joy to have around.  Thanks for dropping by and having a peek!  Until next time, scrap happy!
