Hi Friends, Today I'm sharing a recipe book I created using Simple Stories Lemon Twist paper collection.  I will be filling this all of our families favorite recipes and gifting it to my grand daughter for Christmas.  Lets have a look through the book.

Cool Mixed Media Guy Card

Hi Friends, Today I'm sharing a really cool , mixed media guy card that I created for my grandsons birthday.  I used Ciao Bella's "Collateral Rust" paper collection which has this super cool image of an vintage Indian motorcycle in it.  I was also able to decorate the inside.  Let's have a peek:

Upcycled Biscotti Button Jars

Hi Friends 

Today I'm sharing this super easy upcycle project using old biscotti jars I found at my local thrift store.  When shopping for these make sure you pick up the ones with their plastic seals still in tack.  These are easily removed to add buttons inside the caps so you know what color buttons are being stored in each jar.  If you don't want to put buttons in the tops, you can easily spray ink color on cotton balls, let dry completely and stuff your lids with your preferred color buttons. 

I used a scrap of contract paper left over from lining my dresser to wrap the outside of the jars.  Added pearl trim around the top and bottom of the contact paper.  Then I added a small daisy trim about the tops, pink ribbon tied in a bow with a pretty Prima flower and some of Renea Bouquet's beautiful butterflies to finish it off.  Well that's it for me today, thanks for dropping by and having a peek! Simple Mixed Media Scrapbook Layout

 

Hi Friends, Today I'm sharing a sweet and simple mixed media layout I did of my grand daughter this summer.  I love this picture of her, she's just the sweetest!  I used 49th & Market's Vintage Artistry Sage paper collection to create this layout.  Using a stencil and modeling past I laid down some texture and then added some soft watercolor to make the texture stand out.  Then I layered in some torn paper and created two flower clusters.  I added the simple dangle as a finishing touch.  Thanks so much for dropping by today and having a peek! Cigar Box Swap

                                         

Hi Crafty Friends, Today I'm sharing a wooden cigar box that I created for my partner Laura, in Renea Bouquets Cigar Box Swap hosted on Scrapbook.com. To make the top, I made some flourishes from moulds, used a Prima frame, and used a Martha Stewart hydrangea punch to create the flowers.  As a finishing touch, I used Renea's Beautiful blue butterflies.  Lets have a look inside:

Bird Watcher Album

Hi Crafty Friends,  Today I'm sharing an 8x8 Mini Album created using Graphic 45's Brid Watcher collection.  I used Frank Garcia's Memory Hardware Grande Mini Album base.  I left it natural as I used gold wax to distress the edges of the album.  I love all the birdy theme sentiments in this collection and used a few favorites on the cover.  The closure is a simple button and ribbon tie.  The roses are all Prima flowers, notice the "rocky candy" on them? Let's have a closer look:

Shabby Owl Plaque

Hi Crafty Friends, Here's a Shabby Owl I created using a Zuri mould called Owl Tales.  I used waxes to layer in the three different colors of wax.  Indian Pink, Sweet Rose and White Pearl.  I created an ombre effect on the plaque, added some Prima roses, a gold tipped feather, and pretty satin champagne ribbon.  Thanks so much for dropping by and having a peek!  Until next time, craft happy! 

 

Poka-Dots in Paris Tag

Hi Friends, This is the last of this weeks tags.  Of course I saved the best for last.  I created this tag using Renea Bouquets Eiffel Tower, black and white poka-dot and itty bitty pink butterflies.  I love the Prima flowers, the sequins and the textured diamond water colored background.  With a bit of ribbon and lace, it came out so sweet!  Thanks for dropping by and having a peek! ~ Dawna 

 

The Lemon Garden Tag

Birds of a Feather Tag

Hi Friends, This week I've been creating tags.  Here's my first one, called Brid's of a Feather.  I used bird and butterfly moulds from Re-Design, a Prima frame, Flourish stencil from Tim Holtz, green microbeads from Recollections, Sunflowers from Prima, Gold Foil Bloom Spray from Prima, watercolor pencils from Prisma, light and fluffy Modeling Paste from TCW and some pretty ribbon and lace from my stash.   That's it for this post, until next time, craft happy! 

 

Childhood Mini Album

Hi Friends Today I'm sharing this sweet 8x8 Mini Album created with Mintay's Childhood paper collection.  I adore the sweet characters and toys throughout the album.  I also used a Prima resin frame and Prima flowers.  Lets have a peek at the corset spine and the inside:

3 Beautiful Slimline Cards

Hi Friends, Today I'm sharing three beautiful slimline cards.  The first layer of each card is embossed with new 3D embossing technology and its so detailed and pretty.  Also, the gold frame below uses the same 3D technology and really makes an intricate embossed detail.  Have a closer look:
