Today I'm sharing a shaker box that stores this pretty waterfall mini album.  I created this as a gift for someone near and dear to me.  Lets take a closer look at the box:

Its a little difficult to see but the big bubble has shaker beads, seeds and sequins and features a fairy image.  Lets have a closer look at the mini album:

Its kin of a misnomer to call this album a mini especially since it holds 60 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" photos.  I hope to fill it and gift it in the near future.  Now lets have a look at the inside pages:

Express Yourself

Today I'm sharing my submission for Renea Bouquet's March Mood Board on FB.  I've been hording these stunning sorbet colored butterflies for the longest time!  I hope Renea decides to bring them back! And, a shoot out to my girlfriend Laura for the beautiful "Express Yourself" chippy, the aqua ribbon, white feathers, gold doily, lace and trim!  Thank you so much Laura for your sweet generosity and for inspiring me to create a layout!

To create this layout I hand stitched around the edges and handmade the rolled flowers and pink and grey leaves.  Its been so long since I did a layout, I really enjoyed doing this one.  Well that's it for me today.  Thanks for dropping by, I hope you create something beautiful today!  Hugs ~ Dawna

Somewhere in Time

Hi Friends,  Today I'm sharing a loaded tag created for my secret sister Laura.  I love steampunk design, so this was a lot of fun for me.  To start I used a 6x8 office clipboard as my base.  I added a right, left and bottom flap that folds up to hold three more elements.  The heart tag, the Steampunk Shop tag and the black lace and tulle dress form.  Lets have a closer look:

Shop Tag has chain that drapes over the clip, lock and key and pocket watch are being held by the clip as well.

Elastic closure wraps to front and catches the small corner 'hitches' to secure everything down.
