Refugio State Beach

Hi Friends, Here's where we love to spend our summers.  Its a short 3 minute walk to park yourself at this spot and watch the surfers surf the point.  This bird loves to sit and what with us! 

I created this layout for the Mixed Media Challenge at scrapbook.com. I  used blue, yellow and iridescent blue paints and gesso for the splatters in the background.  Used corrugated cardboard, burlap to add some texture in the layering.  Here's a few more close ups:
