Mama's Pearl's Layout

Hi Friends, Do you have a "special piece" of jewelry from your mother's beloved collection? I own two pieces that I hold dear. They were both bequeathed to me at her passing in 1998, at the early age of 63 years. I didn't realize how special this photo was until I realized I was wearing her beautiful set of pearls (with matching bracelet and earrings). It's the rare event that I get to wear these beautiful pieces, but on the night I took this photo I was dressed up to take my daughter, Jessica, on a special mother/daughter date to see "Wicked." We wound up having a very big adventure, one for memory books! As it should be! I created this for the Mix Media Challenge at sb.com.. Lots of paint speckles and I used watercolor to tint Renea's Sweet Pea butterflies. Papers are from Mintay's "Life Stories" collection. Here's a few close ups:
